Terms of Service

Reelmee is a content automation platform that enables users ("Creators") to:

• Clone their face and voice from a self-recorded video, or create an AI-generated persona
• Generate short-form video content using AI
• Auto-post generated content to third-party social media platforms (TikTok, Instagram, YouTube) via the Creator's connected accounts
• Track content performance through analytics

Reelmee acts as a tool operated by the Creator. All content is posted to the Creator's own social media accounts with their explicit authorization.

You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service. By using the Service, you represent and warrant that you meet this age requirement and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.

To use the Service, you must create an account and provide accurate, complete, and current information. You are responsible for:

• Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
• All activity that occurs under your account
• Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

4.1 Your Content

You retain ownership of all content you upload to the Service, including videos, images, voice recordings, and scripts ("User Content"). By uploading User Content, you grant Reelmee a limited, non-exclusive, worldwide license to process, store, and use your User Content solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you.

We do not use your User Content to train AI models for other users. Your data is used exclusively to generate content for your account.

4.2 Generated Content

Content generated by the Service using your clone or persona ("Generated Content") is owned by you. You are solely responsible for the Generated Content posted to your social media accounts.

4.3 Prohibited Uses

You agree not to use the Service to:

• Create content that impersonates another person without their written consent
• Clone the face, voice, or likeness of any person other than yourself without their explicit written consent
• Generate content that is illegal, defamatory, obscene, harassing, threatening, or promotes violence
• Generate content that infringes on the intellectual property rights of any third party
• Distribute spam, malware, or any harmful material
• Violate any applicable law, regulation, or third-party platform terms of service
• Circumvent or attempt to circumvent any security measures of the Service
• Use the Service for any fraudulent, deceptive, or misleading purpose

4.4 AI Disclosure

Content generated by the Service is AI-generated. Reelmee automatically labels content as AI-generated when posting to social media platforms in compliance with platform policies. You agree not to remove, alter, or circumvent these disclosure labels.

5.1 Connected Accounts

The Service allows you to connect your social media accounts (TikTok, Instagram, YouTube) to enable auto-posting. By connecting your accounts, you:

• Authorize Reelmee to post content to your connected accounts on your behalf
• Acknowledge that you are responsible for complying with each platform's terms of service
• Understand that Reelmee's ability to post content depends on the availability and policies of third-party platforms

5.2 Platform Compliance

You are responsible for ensuring that all content posted through the Service complies with the terms of service and community guidelines of each connected platform. Reelmee is not responsible for any actions taken by third-party platforms against your account.

5.3 Auto-Posting and Auto-Approve

If you enable Auto-Approve mode, the Service may generate and post content to your connected accounts without manual review. You are responsible for configuring appropriate guardrails (topic restrictions, quality thresholds, posting limits) and for all content posted under this mode.

6.1 Consent

By uploading a video of yourself for cloning, you confirm that:

• You are the person in the video, or you have obtained explicit written consent from the person depicted
• You grant Reelmee permission to create and store a digital clone of the face and voice in the video
• The clone will be used solely for generating content within your Reelmee account

6.2 AI Persona Creation

When creating an AI persona (a fictional character), you confirm that:

• The persona is not based on or intended to resemble any real person without their consent
• You are solely responsible for how the persona is used and the content it generates

6.3 Data Handling

Your face and voice data is:

• Encrypted at rest and in transit
• Stored securely on our infrastructure
• Never shared with other users or third parties
• Never used for any purpose other than generating content for your account
• Deletable at any time from your account settings

Upon deletion request, all face and voice data is permanently removed within 30 days.

7.1 Plans and Pricing

The Service offers subscription plans (Starter, Pro, Max) with varying monthly credit grants and features. Current pricing is available at reelmee.app/pricing. We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice to existing subscribers.

7.2 Payment Provider

Payments are processed through Dodo Payments, which acts as our merchant of record. Dodo handles billing, tax collection, and tax remittance globally on our behalf. By subscribing, you agree to Dodo's terms of service in addition to these Terms. Subscriptions are billed monthly and renew automatically unless cancelled.

7.3 Credit Model

The Service operates on a credit-based model. Each subscription tier grants a monthly credit allotment that resets when your subscription renews. Different actions consume different amounts of credits. Representative costs at the time of writing:

• Generating a script: ~60 credits
• Training a voice clone: ~200 credits
• Rendering a video with lipsync: ~300 credits
• Generating a persona face image: ~25 credits per candidate

Exact costs may change over time as we adjust to reflect provider costs. Current rates are visible in the credit usage history on your dashboard.

7.4 Credit Packs

You may purchase additional credits as one-time credit packs (1k, 5k, 25k) at any time. Credit packs do not expire as long as your account is active. Unused credits are forfeited upon account termination. Subscription credits expire at the end of each billing cycle and do not roll over.

7.5 Insufficient Credits

If you attempt an action that requires more credits than your balance, the action will fail with an “insufficient credits” error. You may top up by purchasing a credit pack or upgrading your subscription tier. We do not run actions on credit owed to the user.

7.6 Refunds

Subscription fees and credit pack purchases are non-refundable except where required by applicable law. If you are unsatisfied with the Service, you may cancel your subscription at any time to prevent future charges. Credits already consumed by failed or unsatisfactory video renders are not refunded automatically; contact support@reelmee.app if you believe credits were charged in error.

7.7 Free Trial

New accounts include 1,000 free trial credits (approximately one full video). No payment information is required to use the trial. To continue past the trial allotment you must purchase a subscription or credit pack.

8.1 Our IP

The Service, including its software, design, features, and branding, is owned by Reelmee and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of the Service.

8.2 Your IP

You retain all rights to your User Content and Generated Content. We claim no ownership over content you create using the Service.

8.3 Feedback

If you provide feedback or suggestions about the Service, we may use them without obligation to you.

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, and protect your personal information including face and voice data. By using the Service, you consent to the practices described in the Privacy Policy.

10.1 Service Availability

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available." We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure at all times.

10.2 Content Quality

While we strive for high-quality AI-generated content, we do not guarantee that Generated Content will achieve specific results, engagement, or revenue.

10.3 Third-Party Platforms

We are not responsible for changes to third-party platform APIs, policies, or availability that may affect the Service's functionality.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Reelmee shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, revenue, data, or business opportunities, arising from your use of the Service.

Our total liability for any claim arising from these Terms or the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid to Reelmee in the 12 months preceding the claim.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Reelmee, its officers, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from:

• Your use of the Service
• Your violation of these Terms
• Content you create, upload, or post through the Service
• Your violation of any third-party rights or applicable laws

13.1 By You

You may cancel your subscription and delete your account at any time from your account settings.

13.2 By Us

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time if you violate these Terms or engage in conduct that we determine is harmful to the Service, other users, or third parties.

13.3 Effect of Termination

Upon termination:

• Your right to use the Service ceases immediately
• Your data (including face and voice clones) will be retained for 30 days, then permanently deleted
• You may request immediate deletion of all data at any time
• Outstanding payment obligations remain due

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by email or through the Service at least 30 days before the changes take effect. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation first, and if unresolved, through binding arbitration.

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.

These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Reelmee regarding the Service.
